The right truck for your towing needs

One of the most common questions I have to answer for my customers is, "What is the tow rating?" I have answered that question on a few years and models enough that I have memorized the numbers for them, but tow rating varies from year to year, model to model and even within the same year and model based on the transmission and gear ratio that the truck came with. Luckily for me and my customers, there are guides that have put all the information for the seemingly infinite variations into one place for us to easily find. My favorite source to get information from is the Trailer Life website. They have compiled the Good Sam Towing Guides from 1999-2019 and you can parse through the information yourself or use the drop down selectors on the side to pick the specific vehicle you are looking at.
